Gran-of-five Evelyn Gillespie looks and feels like a new woman … after shedding an incredible seven-and-a-half stones in weight.

Evelyn became determined to lose weight after struggling to tie her shoe laces when she tipped the scales at 18 stones 1lb.

And losing her beloved brother, Thomas McDonald, also made her determined to get fit, live longer and see her grandchildren growing up.

Silverburn M&S worker Evelyn, mum to Linda, 35, and 30-year-old Sharon, signed up with Slimming World at the Watermill Hotel, in Paisley, to start her road to a healthier life.
