Great Food Optimising Choices – Iceland Stores
If you ate your way through the freezer this January, here’s a selection of items from Iceland Stores which you can get for under £15 to re-fill (and have some tasty meals too…)
Meal in a Bag – Chicken Teriyaki Stirfry is 8 syns for the full bag – it serves two people, so 4 syns each. It takes 12-15 minutes to make.
Meal in a Bag – Chicken Fajita Stirfry is 6 syns for the full bag, again serves two so just 3 syns for half (these are actually decent portions too!)
The chicken in the top right of the picture is just plain, cooked chicken which has been frozen. Perfect to throw in sauces, curries, or even defrost and have as a sandwich or as chicken! Totally free (plain version).
Bottom left, Posh Grub Chicke Breasts stuffed with Garlic and Herbs – there’s 2 chicken breasts inside this pack, and each one is just 1 syn. Our plan is to have these with roast potatoes and veg.
The Sliced Lamb in a rich mint gravy is totally free – we’ve had this before, with veg and SW chips.
Finally, the Birds Eye inspirations Fish Chargrills (with Lemon, Rosemary and Thyme) are totally syn free. We’ll be having these (1 each – 2 in the pack) with some savory rice and a large green salad.
