Slimming World Clothes Throw (Update)

Further to the press release earlier this month (“Super Stretford Slimmers’ weight-loss success is in the bag”, available here), we have received an update from Cancer Research UK in regards to our record-breaking donations which were taken through our groups during May 2013.

We’ve been informed that the campaign has so far helped to raise over £800,000 to date for the charity, through the donations run in group where members brought old clothes which they didn’t fit in any more – to be made available for sale through local stores.

A big well done to everyone once again. We’re already planning the next step in this fantastic link between Slimming World and Cancer Research UK!
