Being a Consultant – Supporting members

This is part of a series about being a Slimming World Consultant.

Read from the start.

Well yesterday I mentioned about my own personal experience about becoming a consultant and what it was like, and last night we had our lovely Gorse Hill Group slimmers along at the Methodist Church for our Monday evening group. 7pm came, and before long the evening had finished, with lots of happy people seeing the weight changes they expected, and for those who may not have felt that the week had gone as well as it could, they left motivated and excited that they could change it for next week, making confident and realistic targets.

After group, it doesn’t stop there for me. I have some minor admin to complete with my laptop and PDA system to ensure that our Head Office knows who visited group this week (this ensures your access to the Free Online Support remains active), and also for me to plan ahead with who to contact and support this week, providing extra motivation for those busier or difficult times in the week ahead. I also update our Facebook Group to ensure that our membership is accurate and up to date, ensuring that our members continue to have access, and add our new friends into the group.

Of course, I have our lovely Wednesday evening groups in Stretford to plan for, and get this ready too, to ensure I have everything ready so that our room looks amazing when you enter, and everything is available which we need.

Additionally this week, I’m looking after a group today (Tuesday) in Salford as one of my colleagues is on holiday, so I’ll have a room of new faces to speak with, but this is really exciting to see how well other members are doing with our plan!

Have a great week ahead, and I’m sure I’ll add some more comments about being a consultant here.
