Alan Oates weighed 33 stones, 7lbs when he started Slimming World back in January 2012. His weight was 68-inches and he required oxygen 15 hours a day.
Alan, aged 55, began gaining weight after he left the army in 1988 and began driving lorries across the country.
An image of him balancing a laptop on his stomach made him realise that he needed to lose weight.
Alan now weights 14 stone 4lbs after losing the weight at a group in Tamworth.
